Arc CMS for Websites

A Website Your Team Can Run, on a Foundation You Own

Fast, secure pages, with SEO, languages, forms and email built in. Your team updates everything from a simple admin area, and you own every part of it.

  • MIT licensed
  • 8,000+ automated tests
  • 100+ pages of docs
  • Your data, your Firebase

A Day in the Admin

What your team actually does once the site is live. No code, no developer on call.

  • Write and Format

Headings, tables, images, video and FAQ blocks in one clean editor. Drafts save themselves.

  • Preview First

See a page as visitors will before anyone else does.

  • Publish in One Click

The page goes live on your site as soon as you publish, with its search-engine data written for you.

  • Undo With Confidence

Every publish is kept, so you can restore any earlier version.

  • Swap Images in Seconds

Upload, crop and reuse pictures from one media library.

  • Add Another Language

Translate a page field by field. Anything not yet translated shows in your main language.

Fast, Secure, Complete and Easy to Run

What sets an Arc CMS website apart, in plain terms.

Fast by Default

Pages are published as plain HTML and served from Google's global CDN. Images are resized into four sizes and converted to WebP. Nothing is rebuilt on each visit.

Secure by Design

No plugins and no server of your own to patch. Security rules and server-side checks guard your data, and roles are carried in signed claims.

Everything Built In

SEO, structured data, site search, multiple languages, forms, email marketing and analytics come in the box, maintained together.

Easy to Manage

Content types with your own fields, drafts that save themselves, version history, and an admin area that works on a phone.

Why no plugins matters: Patchstack's 2026 report found 91% of the 11,334 new WordPress vulnerabilities of 2025 in plugins, and 6 in WordPress core.

Everything Your Website Needs

Each of these is part of Arc CMS itself, not an add-on to buy or a plugin to keep updated.

Content

Content Shaped Like Your Business

Create content types for articles, services, team members, events or case studies, each with the fields you need from 18 types: text, rich text, images, galleries, maps, FAQs, dates and more. Import entries from Excel or CSV, and arrange them in your own order.

Media

A Media Library That Does the Work

Upload once and Arc CMS makes four WebP sizes. Crop to any ratio, pull a photo straight out of a PDF brochure, keep PDF, Word and Excel files in the same library, and find anything by its title or alt text. Free stock photos are a search away.

Languages

Every Language You Need

Publish in as many languages as you need. Each page gets its own address, such as /fr/info/about, the right tags for search engines, and a language switcher that only offers the languages a page exists in.

One entry, every language
  • English/articles/opening-hours
  • Hindi/hi/articles/opening-hours
  • French/fr/articles/opening-hours

Each language gets its own address, search-engine tags and a switcher.

SEO and AI

Built to Be Found by Google and Cited by AI

Structured data, a sitemap, RSS, llms.txt and a Markdown copy of every page are written on every publish. Choose which AI crawlers may read your site, ping Bing through IndexNow, and see a score out of 100 for every draft before it goes live.

Discoverability settings: a switch for each AI crawler, such as OAI-SearchBot and Claude-SearchBot

Forms and audience

Turn Visitors Into Contacts

Signup forms with emailed verification codes, and contact forms with spam checks, work on any page. Every sign-up becomes one contact with tags, lists and consent, and you can import more from a CSV file.

Email

Email Your Audience From the Admin

Design branded newsletters in a block editor, schedule broadcasts, and set up drip sequences and automations. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and consent is respected for you.

Your Design, Not a Template

Arc CMS doesn't dictate how your site looks. Your brand stays yours.

Any Design

Your site's look comes from plain HTML and CSS templates, so any design works, from a designer's mockup to your current site.

Bring Your Current Site

The docs walk through turning an existing HTML site into an Arc CMS site, step by step.

A Home Page Your Team Edits

Editors change the hero, services, questions and contact details from the admin, without touching HTML.

Your Brand at Sign-in

Your name, logo, words and colours on the page where your team and members sign in.

How We Build Your Site

Four steps from first conversation to a site your team runs on its own.

  1. 1

    Plan

We map your pages, content types and languages with you, and agree what your team will edit.

  2. 2

    Design

Your look becomes HTML templates, from your designer's work or ours.

  3. 3

    Launch

We set up your own Firebase project, move your content, connect your domain and switch on email.

  4. 4

    Hand Over

We train your team. You own the code, the content and the hosting account from day one.

Questions Site Owners Ask

Straight answers before you decide.

There are no licence fees. Your site runs on your own Firebase project on Google's pay-as-you-go Blaze plan: you pay Google only for what you use, and small sites often stay within the free allowances. If we build the site for you, that is a one-off project.

You do: the code, the content, your contacts and the Firebase project, which sits on your own Google account.

Yes. After setup, pages, articles, images, forms and emails are all managed in the admin area. You only need a developer to change the design templates.

Yes. Your design becomes Arc CMS templates, and your content can be imported from a spreadsheet or re-created in the editor. There is no one-click WordPress importer, so we plan the move with you.

Your site keeps running. It lives in your own Firebase project, and the code is open source under the MIT licence, so any developer can look after it.

Yes. Your domain connects through Firebase Hosting, with a free SSL certificate.

The admin exports your content, contacts, settings and media files whenever you like. For automatic recovery, switch on point-in-time recovery in your Firebase project, which can restore your data from any moment in the last seven days.

Your site can publish in any language. The admin area is in English and Hindi, and emails are in English for now.
